A full time Book Keeper/Program Facilitator position has opened up to join our team. The Restoration Centre is a Christian faith based, not-for-profit, charitable organisation that restores men’s lives coming out of Corrections.
The role will be based in North Richmond, NSW and employee will be reporting to the Finance Manager and the Directors of the organisation.
The role includes:
- Monitoring of payments and all rental payments by participants
- Ensuring payments are received on time
- Data entry into the Centrepay systems
- Notifying program participants if payments are in arrears
- Weekly payment reports
- Liaising with management and accounts
- Creating purchase orders and invoices
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- General admin duties
- Assisting management in program delivery
- Additional tasks, duties and responsibilities may also be included as the role progresses.
Applicants should ideally have the following:
- At least 1 years' experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with accounting software Xero
- A strong commitment to both the Mission and Vision Statements and to the values of The Restoration Centre
- Excellent, professional communication and organisational skills
- Efficient time management skills to work within time frames and busy schedules
- High level of computer skills and understanding, including use in variety of software (use of both Mac and PC preferable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Position is to start as soon as possible, however can be delayed for the right candidate if more notice is required at current position.
