Full-Time/Permanent/Paid Position

Teen Ranch is seeking an experienced Outdoor Programme Leader to join our dedicated and dynamic team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who has a heart for mission, enjoys encouraging the next generation, has experience in the outdoor recreation industry, and/or other industry experience, and a desire to help others grow.
We also welcome applications from couples, one or both of whom have appropriate qualifications and who share a passion for outdoor ministry.
About the Role
As an Outdoor Programme Leader, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality adventure experiences in accordance with our mission statement. You will:
- Facilitate a wide range of outdoor adventure activities with school and community groups,
- Liaise with guest group leaders to ensure a smooth and safe programme experience,
- Conduct regular safety checks and inspections of activity equipment and facilities,
- Contribute to general site operations, including maintenance, kitchen duties and cleaning when required,
- Provide mentoring and support for trainees, and
- Be part of a vibrant Christian community, committed to sharing the love of Jesus through outdoor ministry.

- A professional appearance and attitude, especially when interacting with guests,

- Emotional resilience, teachability and a genuine love for people from all backgrounds and abilities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III or IV in Outdoor Recreation (or equivalent),
- A valid and current WWC for paid work in NSW,
- Proven experience in outdoor facilitation and group leadership,
- An understanding of risk management and WHS practices in outdoor settings,
- Confidence in working with diverse groups, including schools, churches, and youth organisations, and
- A commitment to Christian faith and alignment with the Teen Ranch Statement of Faith.
Desirable Qualities and Experience
- Current First Aid certificate (HLTAID003 Provide First Aid and HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation),
- Current driver’s license,
- Experience in mentoring junior staff or trainees.
