We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join the team at Jenny Jones Rugs' flagship store in Richmond, Victoria. This is a full-time role managing the showroom in all aspects of store operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales performance. We are a luxury brand and International award winning design studio.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing in the day-to-day running of the store
  • Serving clients in person, online and over the phone.
  • Monitoring and analysing store sales data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Implementing visual merchandising and displays to showcase products effectively
  • Overseeing inventory management and stock control procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and health & safety regulations
  • Helping present the products with flipping the piles of rugs with support from colleagues.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising and sales reporting
  • Passion for the retail industry and a keen eye for trends and consumer behaviour
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Apple Mac Desktop
  • Must have Drivers License
  • Available to work one weekend rostered day. ie Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
