Wesley Vocational Institute (RTO Code 90091), the Registered Training Organisation of Wesley Mission, has been successfully delivering accredited training and industry specific community programs for over 20 years, with offices across NSW and strong partnerships interstate.

About the role

To succeed in this role, you will be an all-rounder required to balance business development, front-line student recruitment, and day-to-day training coordination. You will work collaboratively with a fantastic group of accredited Trainers/Assessors and the WVI training team and be encouraged to build relationships with new and existing stakeholders in the local area.

Your success in this role will be based on your administrative and coordination skills, engagement of stakeholders and promotion of the program to key community members.

You will most likely have previous experience in program coordination preferably in an employment or training industry.

Essential criteria

  • Formal qualifications in training, business, management or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience gained within the business, training or professional sector.
  • Experience in establishing new projects and business opportunities: Seeks opportunities and partnerships to ensure the success implementation of viable training programs.
  • Experience in the measurement and management of business targets.
  • Experience in relationship management: Builds and maintains mutually beneficial, collaborative relationships across different groups in a business partnership model.
  • Skills in innovation management: Generates creative ideas and actively contributes to a continuous improvement culture.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build individual and team motivation to secure outcomes

Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge and experience in working with relevant training packages and systems
  • an understanding of ASQA and the Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116)
  • previous experience in a similar role.
