About the business and the role
We are looking for a Full Time 2IC who is dedicated to retail and possesses skills in beauty! Our 2IC will lead Parfums Christian Dior at the David Jones Elizabeth Street Sydney team by driving and maximising the counters performance through ensuring high levels of service and client’s satisfaction, while demonstrating the Dior attitude at all times.
Your key tasks include, though not limited to:
Selling Dior products by meeting clients’ needs and providing a memorable experience through high standards of service to clients throughout the whole sale
Achieving retail sales targets and contributing to counter and service KPIs on a monthly basis
Partnering with the Counter Manager in ensuring achievement of counter sales targets on a monthly basis and of corporate objectives
Assisting and supporting the Counter Manager in driving and monitoring commercial activity in accordance with company defined KPIs, managing relationships and representing Dior with store management
Co-managing and leading the team effort in Clienteling and CRM activities, including effective usage of tools
Under the Counter Manager’s leadership, contributing to creating a supportive environment to drive, motivate and empower teams to meet assigned goals on a daily & a longer-term basis
Assisting in ensuring the development of Dior team members through regular coaching
Guaranteeing the respect of Dior standards & counter rules in terms of brand knowledge, behaviour and presentation
Actively support the Counter Manager in the day-to day management of the counter and of all administrative tasks: shift planning, stock management and ordering, sales analysis & reporting
Skills and Experience
3 year management experience preferably within luxury beauty/fragrance industry
Demonstrated management and sales capabilities, ideally in a luxury retail environment
Results and business-oriented
Pro-active and adaptable with a positive mindset
Demonstrated experience managing, motivating, coaching, and developing a team
Passionate about beauty and fragrance
Ability to build strong relationships with clients, their teams, Head Office team members, and shopping centre management
Highly developed interpersonal & communication skills
Experience in booking and carrying out in-store/on-counter events
Impeccable grooming and professional presentation
Must be punctual, flexible, passionate and dedicated, and attentive to details
