Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll engage with a variety of stakeholders, including long-standing members of our community who bring deep institutional knowledge—sometimes alongside more traditional communication styles. Navigating this environment successfully requires emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and a confident, grounded approach to interpersonal dynamics.
The successful candidate will bring strong administrative experience in a financial, business, or operational setting, with a proven ability to manage detail and drive efficient processes. You will be able to demonstrate:
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
Confidence engaging professionally with diverse stakeholders including contractors, School Council members, and members of the broader School community
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a comfort with numerical data
A proactive and independent working style, with a commitment to streamlining systems and supporting continuous improvement
Discretion, patience, and the ability to handle confidential matters sensitively
We are particularly looking for someone who is:
Experienced in administrative or executive support, ideally within finance, policy, or government environments
Comfortable working with individuals from different generations and traditional communication styles
Skilled at managing sensitive conversations and promoting respectful workplace interactions
Clear and articulate in both written and verbal communication
Calm under pressure and confident in maintaining professional boundaries
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to key operational aspects of the School, including insurance, major projects, budgeting, policy development, and governance reporting.
Involvement in broader aspects of School life, including co-curricular, sporting, and pastoral programs, is encouraged. A commitment to the School’s Christian ethos and support for its ministry is expected.
This is a full-time, year-round position (38 hours/week, Monday to Friday), based on-site. Some flexibility in working arrangements may be considered.
The successful applicant will be required to provide:
A current Working with Children Check
A valid First Aid certificate
Completion of online Child Protection training (prior to commencement)
The anticipated salary will be dependent on the knowledge, skills and attributes of the successful applicant, within the range of $75 - $85K pa (plus 12% superannuation).
Applications will close at 4pm on Thursday 3 July 2025.
