Allied Health – Dietitian (Grade 1 or 2)

Perfect Balance Nutrition is a team of passionate Clinical Dietitians serving Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs and Bayside. We are looking for a motivated, experienced professional to join our dietetics team. The position is primarily based at Mount Waverley and Sandringham, also includes Telehealth hours. This is a casual position with the ability to transition to permanent part time for the right candidate. 2 days per week, commencing Monday 23 June 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high level clinical dietetic services to a wide range of people including Private and Bulk Billed Patients.
  • To develop standardised education material and assist with the clinical development of database resources.
  • To prepare and deliver group sessions, talks and seminars.
  • To develop blog posts and social media posts.

The successful Candidate:

  • Holds a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics/Masters of Dietetics or equivalent.
  • Has a minimum of 2-3 years clinical experience covering core clinical conditions requiring dietetic intervention. Eating Disorder experience is highly desirable as this will be part of your clinical workload. Paediatric, allergies and intolerances and sports nutrition not essential but desirable.
  • Can demonstrate safe and effective clinical practice.
  • Meets National Competency Standards for Dietitians in Australia.
  • Has excellent interpersonal and effective communication and conflict resolution skills and practices with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Has the ability to work independently in a remote private practice team.
  • Participates in the Accredited practicing Dietitian program.

Has medium to high level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Medical/Allied Health Data base.

Will provide evidence of a current Police Check and Working with Children check as per Child Safe Standards and Working with Children Act 2005.
