About The Role
As our AOD Outreach Worker, you'll play a critical role in supporting individuals and families impacted by Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) through holistic case management, counselling, and outreach.
You'll work alongside a passionate, multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred, trauma-informed care. Every day will be different - and every day, you'll be doing work that matters.

Reporting to the Non-Residential Services Team Leader, this is a permanent full-time position, based in Corio, VIC.

Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.

You will successfully
  • Provide tailored case management and counselling to people navigating AOD recovery
  • Deliver outreach services that meet people where they are - both physically and emotionally
  • Support forensic clients and engage family members to build healthier networks of care
  • Facilitate group programs that foster connection and resilience
  • Partner with local services to build meaningful pathways to long-term well being
You will have
  • A Diploma in AOD or equivalent (with 4 AOD core units) and experience in AOD or Mental Health
  • Confidence in working with complexity - from challenging behaviours to dual diagnoses and overdose prevention
  • A deep understanding of harm minimisation, pharmacotherapy, and recovery-oriented practice
  • Warmth, resilience, and an unwavering belief in people's capacity to change
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Check
