The Opportunity – ELC Director
The role is a part-time (19 hours per week), ongoing leadership position. A position of responsibility allowance is attached to this role.
We are seeking an inspiring and strategic Christian leader to serve as our Early Learning Centre (ELC) Director. Reporting to the CREST Head of Early Years, inspiring educational leader to oversee curriculum design and teaching excellence in our Early Learning Centre.
Commencing in January 2026, you will oversee our Rivercrest ELC This role will drive the implementation of the VEYLDF, NQS, IB-PYP, and Christian values, while leading a team of educators to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate programs. With a strong focus on school readiness and continuous improvement, the successful candidate will use data to shape high-quality, inquiry-based learning experiences that support every child’s growth and development.
About You
You are a passionate and experienced early childhood educator with a deep commitment to nurturing young learners in a Christ-centered environment. With strong pedagogical knowledge and a collaborative leadership style, you inspire excellence in teaching and learning. You have a thorough understanding of the VEYLDF, NQS, and IB-PYP, and use these frameworks to guide high-quality, inclusive programs. Your strength lies in mentoring teams, using data to inform practice, and creating engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that support the holistic development of every child.
