The Gift in Wills team is seeking a Honoured Friend Representative who is passionate about the mission of The Salvation Army to join their team.
This is a permanent, part time (7.6 hour per week) vacancy located in Brisbane / Gold Coast managing relationships with our donors which includes a mix of face to face, written and phone communication (admin tasks can be done from home or office).
Our Honoured Friend Representatives are key to our Wills & Bequest program, as they develop and maintain relationships with Honoured Friends of The Salvation Army, by expressing gratitude and appreciation to them for their past, present and continued support for the mission.
A 'typical week' in this role:
· Planning and implementing a contact schedule for all Honoured Friends in portfolio
· Visiting/contacting Honoured Friends in your portfolio, tailoring interactions to each individual and ensuring visits are meaningful, positive and memorable for them
· Updating all interactions with Honoured Friend in the CRM database
· Sending out 'mailings' to Honoured Friends in your portfolio at key points in the year (eg. Christmas card and Honoured Friend update newsletter)
· Attending a Wills Event or Honoured Friend thank you function and assisting your Relationship Manager with organising events with their Honoured Friends
· In all interactions with Honoured Friends, making the most of opportunities to connect them with Salvation Army programs
We are seeking someone who is a team player and has:
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· Keen to interact with others and create relationships
· Strong organisational skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Knowledge and passion about Salvation Army programs
· High integrity and can displays empathy, sensitivity and sincerity
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
