The College Headmaster is inviting applications from exceptional Mathematics Teachers who are active Christians for the position of Mathematics Teacher 7-12. The role is suitable for both experienced and graduating teachers. The role will commence in term 1 2026.
The successful applicant will be registered with the New South Wales Educational Standards (NESA) and be accredited as Provisional, Proficient or Experienced Teacher. The Teacher will be responsible to the Leader of Learning - Mathematics and work alongside highly competent, experienced and enthusiastic staff. They will be expected to have a knowledge and understanding of the NESA 7-12 Mathematics Curriculum. Experience in teaching Stage 6 Mathematics and Extension courses is preferred but not essential. An ability and willingness to use a variety of teaching and learning techniques and to extend and provide for students according to their individual gifts and ambitions are essential.

Personal skills, attributes and expectations:
It is expected that the Mathematics Teacher will:
Be an active Christian who is involved in a local church and able to contribute to the Christian culture of the College (Devotions, Chapel, Prayer, worship, Christian Studies)
Teach 7-12 Mathematics in a manner reflected in the syllabi designed by NESA
Be an Experienced or Graduate Mathematics Teacher
Experience in/or ability to teach Extension 1 and 2 Stage 6 Mathematics - preferred but not essential
Be an enthusiastic and passionate educator
Be willing and able to teach subjects outside of the Mathematics faculty by consultation and if required
Incorporate evidence based pedagogy into their teaching and learning practices
Hold a current Working with Children Check
Understand and be able to demonstrate how they differentiate the curriculum
Foster staff cooperation and commitment
Conduct themselves with integrity, loyalty and honesty
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the significance of ICT pedagogy in 21st Century education
Display high levels of organisational and communication skills
Be committed to collaboration across all levels within the College community
Demonstrate a willingness to contribute to co-curricular College activities. This will involve hours outside of the regular College day
Demonstrate a willingness to attend expected College events
Undertake other roles as determined by the Headmaster
