About The Role

Anglicare is looking for an Operations Manager – Seniors Communities to oversee day-to-day operational functions across multiple service areas within the retirement village, including facilities management, resident services coordination, contractor management, and administrative operations.

As an Operations Manager – Seniors Communities, you will require operational leadership experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and accountability for operational efficiency and resident satisfaction. As the 2IC to the Village Manager, this role provides operational support and coverage during absences.

This is a Permanent Full-Time role with Oran Park as your base location and working across the 3 villages of Oran Park, Minto Gardens and Cobbitty Park.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Provide leadership and management of staff, fostering a culture of service excellence, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Spearhead the villages safety projects
  • Coordinate activities across departments to ensure seamless service delivery to residents.
  • Assist with the Village operations budget and report on financial performance as needed
  • Support the asset management team with preventative maintenance programs and manage reactive maintenance requirements
  • Manage contractor relationships and service contracts to ensure quality service delivery and value for money
  • Coordinate contractor activities and ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.
  • Monitor contractor performance and address service issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure operational administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Support compliance activities including safety audits, resident feedback processes, and operational reporting
  • Support resident services delivery by coordinating operational aspects of resident events and activities.
  • Ensure operational services support positive resident experiences and community engagement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in operations management or similar supervisory role
  • Experience in facilities management, maintenance coordination, or property management (highly desirable)
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating multiple operational activities
  • Knowledge of WHS requirements and compliance obligations
  • Experience in customer service delivery, preferably in Aged Care or Hospitality environments
  • Current unrestricted Driver's License
