The role - Personal Assistant/Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Personal Assistant/Administrator to support our Head of Campus – Senior Secondary (Years 11-12) and will be based in our new Senior Learning Centre. This role is a permanent part time – 3 days (22.8 hours) per week, reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Executive Principal and working collaboratively with other administration team members.

This role requires a proactive and organised individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be aligned with our Christian values and committed to our institute’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the calendar of the Head of Senior School Campus, meetings, events, and priorities to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion;
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations;
  • Coordinate and manage special projects and events;
  • Serve as a liaison between the all leaders across CREST Education, staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders;
  • Maintain organised files and records;
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of our institution.

Key requirements successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior administrative or personal assistant role
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Synergetic and SchoolBox (or similar systems) desirable
  • Event coordination experience highly regarded
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a busy, fast-paced school environment
