Key accountabilities
To teach Christian Studies and to lead the development of the Christian Studies teaching programs
To facilitate and preach at weekly Chapel services and special Assemblies
To lead and promote Bible study groups, and a range of other ministries for students, including Cru groups
To foster and support ministries to engage the whole College community, including Staff, Old Boys and parents
To strengthen connections with the Presbyterian Church, its mission, institutions and programs
Who are you?
You have a qualification in Education and/or Theological / Biblical Studies as well as NESA registration.
You will be a member of a reformed evangelical Christian Church
Experience in Christian ministry preferable to children of early learning primary age (3-12 yrs)
Ability to work with and as part of the Christian Studies and Chaplaincy teams and to teach Christian Studies across all stages of the Preparatory School
You will have the ability to infuse Christian value into teaching.
You have the propensity to recognise the value and uniqueness of each individual within the College community.
You will have a strong commitment to your own ongoing professional learning and Christian development and maturity.
You will have professional and personal integrity.
You have or can obtain a valid working with children check.
You are committed to ongoing learning in alignment with the development directions of The Scots College.
