Life To The Full is a newly established but growing ministry committed to cultivating 'Holistic Christian Flourishing'.
We are a not-for-profit organisation made up of a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, sex & relationship counsellors, pastoral supervisors, coaches and theologians together under one roof.
In response to growing client demand for out of hours services, we are seeking to expand our work with this newly created role.
About You
You will provide counselling to adults &/or adolescents, after-hours (generally 5pm - 9pm weeknight evenings), with evidence-based psychological services, remotely via telehealth:
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop personalised treatment plans for adults and/or adolescents & children
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Christian team
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with clinic policies and legal requirements.
Essential Criteria
- Maintain membership of relevant Professional Bodies and Professional Registration.
- Participate in professional supervision (we can provide such supervision if required)
- Participate in and share regular relevant professional development
- Current Psychologist Registration (AHPRA)
- Experience providing psychotherapy for adults and/or adolescents
- Passion for integrating faith in psychotherapy
- Strong understanding of psychological conditions such as depression and anxiety
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Desirable
- Clinical master’s degree in psychology
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally with experience in telehealth or remote therapy.
- Strong understanding of psychological conditions such as depression and anxiety
Reporting
This role reports to our Clinical Director (Endorsed Supervisor/Clinical Psychologist), and as with all employees, is ultimately responsible to the Founding Director.
