The Salary range for this position is currently $34.85 to $35.55 per hour based on experience, plus the opportunity to use and home garage a fleet vehicle. Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM - if required to use own vehicle. Hourly rate is based on experience.

About this role
As a Senior Home Care Specialist with Churches of Christ, you will provide compassionate, client-centred care to individuals in their homes across Warwick to Stanthorpe, Allora to Willowvale, and Ballandean to Rosehill. Your role involves assisting with daily activities, medication management, and promoting independence, all while upholding our Positive Wellbeing Model of Care. Additionally, you will mentor junior staff, contributing to a supportive and knowledgeable team environment.
This role offers variety and flexibility, with a combination of hands-on client support and office-based responsibilities. While much of your work will take place in the community, there will be times when you’ll contribute to planning and coordination from our office. As a senior team member, you will also be available for on-call support as the need arises, within a 6:30 am – 6:30 pm window, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care when they need it most.
Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. To ensure they receive the highest standard of care, your reliability is crucial for maintaining regular shifts and providing coverage during both planned and unexpected absences.

We are seeking a Senior Home Care Worker who is compassionate and understanding, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our aging population. You will be a valued member of the team, working closely with and reporting to our very supportive Team Leaders and Service Manager as needed.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of experience, skills, and personal qualities that reflect our mission and values. To be considered for this role, you must be fully qualified with a minimum of a Certificate III in Individual Support and hold a “Assist Clients with Medication” certificate (HLTHPS006).
To be suitable for the position, ideally you have:
