The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Upper Primary Teacher to join our team at Chinchilla Christian College, commencing Term 1, January 2026.

Remuneration

As an Upper Primary Teacher, you will receive a remuneration package circa $90,379 – $129,751 plus super per annum, based on your experience level.

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for Primary teaching.

You will be required to:

  • Provide a current Christian church leader as a referee,
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or Graduate Diploma if you hold a Bachelor in a different field,
  • Be a qualified teacher with QLD College of Teacher’s Registration (QCT) or have the ability to obtain QCT registration,
  • Support the College’s mission, aims and values,
  • Have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and be able to teach it from a Biblical perspective,
  • Contribute to co-curricular activities,
  • Confidently lead student learning within a productive classroom environment,
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, with an ability to effectively prioritise, and
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
