We are currently seeking Wellness Workers (North and Western Suburbs of Melbourne) to provide one-to-one, community-based support to children, young people, and adults living with mental illness or disability.

About the Role
You’ll be working in client homes and communities, providing strengths-based and person-centred support. The goal is to walk alongside people in their recovery journey—building skills, confidence, and community connection.
Key duties may include:
Supporting participants to pursue personal goals, education, or employment
Encouraging social connection and community engagement
Providing emotional and practical support in daily activities
Supporting participants to access services, complete paperwork, or attend appointments
Assisting with community participation through transport and local outings
Engaging in shared activities such as gardening, creative arts, fitness or cooking
Being a consistent, encouraging presence in someone’s life
Each support relationship is unique and tailored to the individual, with a focus on building trust, capacity, and independence.
About You
We are seeking emotionally intelligent, reliable, and compassionate individuals who align with our values and mission. You may be a qualified mental health professional, have lived experience, or bring transferable skills from related fields.

Requirements
Essential:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (Victoria)
Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Highly Regarded:
Qualifications in Mental Health, Community Services, Social Work or a related discipline (Cert IV or higher)
Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID011 or HLTAID003)
Lived experience of mental health or disability, where appropriate
