We are currently seeking a dedicated Café and Canteen Assistant to join our team. This position is permanent part-time, term-time – enjoy school holidays off, 32.5 hours per week, working between 7.00am – 2.00pm.
Position Description and Selection criteria
The Café and Canteen Assistant supports the daily operations of the college by preparing, cooking and serving food and beverages. Key duties include:
Assist in preparing, cooking, and serving meals while ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Provide friendly, efficient service to students and staff, manage online orders, operate café equipment, and handle cash transactions.
Maintain stock levels, restock food and beverage items, and support inventory processes to ensure smooth daily operations.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness in food prep and service areas, following cleaning schedules and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
